A LED
(Light Emitting Diode) is just a tiny light bulb that fits easily into an
electrical circuit. But unlike ordinary incandescent bulbs, LEDs
don't have a filament that will burn out, and they don't get hot,
that's why they are environmental friendly and allow us
to save a lot of energy. It is illuminated solely by the
movement of electrons in a semiconductor material, and it lasts just as long
as a standard transistor. LEDs come in different colors and in two
different tone of white, warm white and cool white.
LEDs
have already replaced light bulbs in virtually all indication applications
and now with the advent of super bright LEDs, many illumination
applications are being taken over by LEDs. They do dozens of
different jobs and are found in all kinds of devices. They are suitable for
any kind of application such as Landscape Lighting, Indoor and Outdoor
Ambient Lighting, and inside furniture mounted.
